CCSD Hosts McKinney-Vento Community Event

Staff members from Charleston County School District’s (CCSD) McKinney-Vento Program in the Department of Federal Programs are partnering with multiple organizations and community partners to support unhoused families and the underserved. CCSD’s McKinney-Vento Program provides services related to education, employment, food, health, housing, and transportation.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the District 4 Regional Stadium, 3659 W. Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC.

The event will feature an employment fair, grocery giveaways for families, utility/rental assistance, and activities for children.
