Benedict College head women's volleyball coach Gwendolyn Rouse has announced the signing of six newcomers for the 2023-24 school year.

Joining the Lady Tigers will be setter Willow Alls; setter Jadyn Murry; middle blocker Desire' Young; middle blocker Krislenn Lucas; outside hitter Kylie Jackson; and defensive specialist/libero Armoni Harris.

Alls, from Pickerington, Ohio, averaged 9.5 assists per set for Pickerington Central High School last season.

"Willow is an All-Conference highly skilled setter who will make an instant impact running a 5-1 and 6-2 offense. She will truly make the hitters better at their positions," Rouse said.

Murry, from Rosharon, Texas, averaged 3.2 assists Willow Alls per set for Shadow Creek High School.

"Jadyn is a great setter and will add depth at the setting position. She will help the team running a 6-2 offense. She too will make the hitters better," Rouse said.

Young, from Aurora, Colo., was an honorable mention All-State selection for Colorado, where she ranked 16th in the state with 62 blocks.

"Desire' will bring instant offense hitting and even more defensively with her amazing blocking skills. She is very energetic and quick on her feet," Rouse said.

Lucas, from Violet, La., averaged 2.5 kills per set last season for Chalmette High School.

"Krislenn will add depth at the middle position both on offense and defense. She will also bring energy on the court for the team," Rouse said.

Kylie Jackson, from Stockbridge, Ga., played outside and opposite for Konos Academy in Fayetteville, Ga.

"Kylie is a versatile player who can play several positions and will play both on the right side and outside," Rouse said.

Harris, from Meraux, La., averaged 5.3 digs per set for Chalmette High School.

"Armoni will bring instant depth as a defensive specialist and libero. She reads the defense very well which will help the hitters," Rouse said.
