**Deninufay West African Drum and Dance Company to visit W.B. Goodwin Elementary**
The Deninufay West African Drum and Dance Company will perform for students during two assemblies. The program is sponsored by the North Charleston Cultural Arts Department and is part of an effort to bring free arts enrichment programs to Charleston County School District (CCSD) schools in North Charleston on Thursday, February 23, 2023; performances are from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at W.B. Goodwin Elementary School, Cafeteria. 5501 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29418

**Toast Under the Oaks is back this spring!**

[JOHNS ISLAND] – Enjoy a Toast under the Oaks at Johns Island County Park this spring! The event will be held on Thursday, March 23 and Thursday, April 6, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. each day.

Featuring live music, food and beverages, this happy hour event is held beneath the sweeping live oak trees at this scenic park on Johns Island. Beer and wine are included with admission. Each event will also feature two food trucks selling fare on site.

On March 23, enjoy live music from Carley Kleban, and food from Sombrero Wok and Street Bird. On April 6, The Honeymeads will perform, and Wally Gyros and Co-Hog food trucks will be on site.
