**Pastor Michael Charley, Word of Faith Christian Center Ministries of St. Matthews**

Pastor Michael Charley is a native of St. Matthews, SC. After graduation from St. Matthews High School, he attended Newberry College where he played football for two years. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served for more than 10 years. While serving in the Air Force, Pastor Mike, which he is as known to most as, was instructed by the Lord to discharge from the service, return to his hometown and begin the ministry. He obeyed God's instructions. Once he returned to St. Matthews, he served as a Law Enforcement Officer for more than 10 years. He has a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and also obtained his teaching certificate and taught Criminal Justice in the public school system. Pastor Mike is married to First Lady Carmen Charley.
