Rivers and Justin A. Rivers. He was currently employed in Security with Charleston Place Hotel. And a former employee with Hotel Bennett.

Dale Eugene Courtney 64, of Goose Creek, SC entered eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2022. Dale was born on May 25, 1958, to Helen Fay and Walter Courtney Jr.

Dale worked at the Berkeley Country Club in Moncks Corner, SC for many years and loved golfing with friends and family. In his free time, he really enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving family: Wife Linda Courtney. Sons Brandon and Christina Courtney, Stephen and Angela Knode, Chuckie and Brittany Ouvry. Son In-Law Brian Goetz. Daughters Jamie and Ron Bathurst and Christina and JR Baynes. Brothers David and Jamie Courtney, Danny and Debbie Courtney, Douglas and Melissa Courtney, Jim and Jan Farley, Mike and Michele Farley. Aunt Margaret Watkins. 16 Grandkids and 3 Great grands.

Dale Courtney was preceded by His Mother and Father Helen Fay and Walter Courtney Jr., Brother Chuck White, Grandparents Abraham and Cecil Brown, Walter and Ina Courtney. Daughter Tara Ouvry Goetz.

Lucius Anthony Nelson, December 18, 1970 - October 7, 2022

Lucius Anthony Nelson, affectionately called “Eto,” 51, of Mount Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 7, 2022.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Shataria Keosha Nelson; grandchildren: D’Nasjha Wise, D’Nyla Wise, and D’Nali Wise; siblings: Franklin Nelson, Gardenia Nelson, Dennis Nelson, Tyrone Nelson, Stephen Lee Flagg, Jr., Deloris Rodriguez, and Janie Riley; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Flagg, Sr.; mother, Alice Nelson, and brothers: Arthur L. Nelson and Isaac Nelson. Family will be receiving friends at: 711 Muirhead Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Mr. Heyward was the husband of Mrs. Australia Griffin Heyward, the son of the late Annie Heyward - Kinlock and Bennie Kinlock, the father of; Michael Heyward, Jr., Jenise Griffin (Robert), Kevin Griffin (Marlesha), Erica Griffin ( James), Eddrina Frazier (Samuel) and Lecriesha Griffin (Shawn), the brother of; Pamela Kinlock - Heyward (Allen Lamar), Sonya Kinlock - Smith (Mark) and Jamie Mcvay (Darryl). The Home going Service for Mr. Heyward will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022, 11:00 AM at Greater Trinity AME Church 677 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC. He will be laid to rest in Old Nazareth Cemetery, Pinopolis, SC. The Walk Thru will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mother Ella Victoria Williams, May 4, 1925 - October 2, 2022

Ella Victoria Williams was born on May 4, 1925, in Ashepoo, South Carolina, to the late John Middleton and Nancy White Middleton. She departed this life on October 2, 2022 at Pruitt Health Care Facility in Walterboro, South Carolina.

She was married to the late Wilbur Williams, Sr. in 1942. From this union, four children were conceived.

Ella was educated in the public school district of Colleton County, Walterboro, South Carolina. She was employed at Bogoslow's Shoe Store, Benjamin's Glamour Shop, and Novit's Fashion Shoppe, all located in Walterboro, South Carolina.

She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and playing the card game, pokeno. She loved traveling, especially to destinations out of the state of South Carolina. She loved socializing with her friends at the Colleton County Council on Aging and Tucker's Adult Health Daycare Center.

Ella was a devoted and dedicated member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Walterboro, South Carolina. She began her Presbyterian Pilgrimage at the age of five, where she remained supportive and faithful until her departure. She served her church as a Sunday School Teacher, an Elder, a Deacon and Chaplin for the Presbyterian Women.

She was a proud member of the Pride of Walterboro, Chapter No. 189 Order of Eastern Star, of Walterboro, South Carolina.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nancy White Middleton; her husband, Wilbur Williams, Sr.; her son, Wilbur Williams, Jr.; her loving sister, Lucille Gelzer and brother, Elliott Middleton.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her Children, Thelma (Robert) Cooper of Walterboro, South Carolina, Billy (Beverly) of Linwood, North Carolina and Cynthia Whittle of Alexandria, Virginia; Grandchildren, Robyn (Victor) Boler of Rochester, New York, Karen Williams of Rochester, New York, Rodric (Wanda) Cox-Cooper of Rochester, New York, Dr. Jeannine (Majied) Eason of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, David (Alexis) Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina and Kristie Williams of Summerville, South Carolina; Great-grand children, Victor, Vaughn and Vinson Boler of Rochester, New York, Jalyn and Rodric II Cox-Cooper of Rochester, New York, Victoria, Malachi, Solomon, Johnathan and Marlee Williams of Summerville, South Carolina, Trulee and Ezra Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kelsi Williams of Rochester, New York; Nieces and Nephews, Nancy Middleton of Sumter, South Carolina, Shemika (Lt.
