Pastor Doris R. Bright, Wesley United Methodist Church, Johns Island

Pastor Doris R. Bright is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina, a graduate of Walterboro High School, a Graduate of Claflin University, a graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary and the Technical College of the Lowcountry. The mother of three children and grandmother of seven.
Pastor Bright states, “When we pray, I want you to understand that God hears more than we say, God answers more than we ask, God gives more than we can ever imagine. God does all of this in God’s own time and in God’s own way.

Always keep God first and all else will fall into place. Remember I love you and there is nothing you can do about.”
